What is God doing with you…?

…He is cleaning up your whole life: inside and out. You will never be able to clean your whole life … there is too much stuff  … stuff you were born with … stuff you learned when you were growing up … and stuff you are trying to hold together today. You were once sin-dead. You had life on your own. You followed dead-end efforts to make life respectable. It may work on the outside but it can never work on the inside … in the real you.   But.. Christ has made you alive in Him. He did it because being loved by him … died for by him … and living all out for Him can only be done inside a whole man and whole woman. He is making nothing less … cleaned up … freed up … Son-end efforts replace self-end efforts. What is God doing in you today? He is doing the one thing He promised to do every day in your life: make you whole in Christ … layer upon layer … relationship upon relationship … life moments that only make sense in Jesus … in your life today. It only takes a moment…

It’s a wonder God didn’t lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Ephesians 2:4-5 The Message
