“If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we’re at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life!” Romans 5:10 The Message
How deep will God go in your life…?
Your worst has been death-covered. Your best is a life-gift. There isn’t a depth in your life that God has not seen or covered by the death of his Son. All of it. He loved you at your worst. All of it. It is a setting-everything-right love that only becomes clear in Jesus. All of it. ”But what about …?” “How could God have loved me when I ….?” He did …He does … and He won’t quit loving you … because of the resurrection life of His Son. You entered this sovereign life when you trusted in the sacrificial death of Jesus. It is very personal! No matter what you are facing today in the world you live in … you are facing it on friendly terms with God. It doesn’t matter how deep God has to go in your life. There is nothing better that God wants for you today than to expand and deepen the Son-centered-friendship that is yours in Christ. It only takes a moment…
“If death got the upper hand through one man’s wrongdoing, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, in those who grasp with both hands this wildly extravagant life-gift, this grand setting-everything-right, that the one man Jesus Christ provides?” Romans 5:17 The Message
