God’s stampede for you:
He came in person … He came for you … He came after you. He was Death-born from his very first breath. His birth announced “the death of death” (John Owen). His birth attracted night-wondering shepherds … gift-bearing diplomats … a power-addicted king … and a sovereign-placed star. His birth was: so we could be made whole — so we would see that God is good —- so that we would know that there was no other way. His birth attracts everyone who is looking for … longing for … and aching for life. It doesn’t matter what your background looks like. It doesn’t matter how far you’ve wandered. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve lived on your own. It only takes a moment to find the life you long for in Jesus.
