“Some men arrived carrying a paraplegic on a stretcher. They were looking for a way to get into the house and set him before Jesus. When they couldn’t find a way in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof, removed some tiles, and let him down in the middle of everyone, right in front of Jesus.” Luke 5:18-19 The Message

Who is carrying you …?

You were never designed to walk alone … to live in Christ alone … to try and get well alone. “We” need others to carry us to Jesus at different times and seasons of our lives. There are paralyzing moments … blocked and crowded moments …  and hard times moments when we need others to carry us to the One who says: “Friend, I forgive your sins … Get up … Take up your bedroll and go home.” There is always a cost that you can never repay but you can “be there” for someone else so  that Jesus can speak real words of healing and un-paralyzing hope. He still does .. even today .. even to you. He is an Alongside God … who became the Lowered One … so that you can be raised to new life in Him. It only takes a moment …

“He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us.” 2 Cor. 1:4 The Message
