“Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.” 1 Peter 5:7 The Message

The Whole Life invitation … (2)

Your life and all that goes into “making” you matters to God. Your anxieties … your fears … your worries … seen and unseen … hidden or exposed … are God’s concern. Everyone has “their” saturation point where they’ve soaked up the the fallen toxins of living in a careless and un-care-filled world. Jesus invites you to “keep company with ‘him’ and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” He invites you to “learn the unforced rhythms of grace”. It seems too easy or too simplistic to simply cast all your anxieties on Jesus. The world you live in says you have to try your hardest … do your part … use God as on a last resort. It is a lie!!! Jesus is first .. not you. You’ll truly live “carefree” when you let God be most “careful” with you. You can’t hide the indwelling and intimate life of Christ. His life will carry your stuff. His life will indeed begin to go “room by room” through your heart to clean up and leave within you a “carefree” and care-filled life. You .. Jesus .. are the Holy Simple One who invites out of the darkness of paralyzing us.  So lift the burden … exhaust all of your own ideas for freedom …   come to Jesus today … now … and let Him lead you to the holy life He designed with great care and redeeming love. It only takes a moment …

”Casting all your anxiety on him, because you and your concerns matter to him.”        1 Peter 5:7 Marshall Interlinear Translation
