Do you remember …?

God has never given up on you … even when you’ve given up on him. God has never run out of forgiveness … even when you run out of excuses. God’s love is greater than the worst sin of your life … even when you are covered with guilt and shame. Jesus showed you what God is really like in person. He is a forgiving God in a world drowning in unforgiveness. This same Jesus prayed that you  would  know how much the Father really loves you. This same Jesus prayed that the Father would make you holy in his truth. This same Jesus prayed for you and the life you would live as a result of believing in Him.  And that is all He asks you to show in the world you live in … what is the God you love with all your heart really like …? It only takes a moment to remember that God will never “dump” you because you didn’t try hard enough … or you haven’t done enough … or you haven’t prayed enough. He has “tons of love” to pour into your life and even  more to pour through you … 

“I have made your very being known to them – Who are you and what you do – And continue to make it known, so that your love for me might be in them exactly as I am in them.” John 17:26 The Message
