“God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love — like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.” Ephesians 4:15-16 The Message
What does God want … What do you want?
God wants your life to be whole in his truth and his love. He wants your life to look like his Son in everything. He wants you to know and live freely in daily trust that He is the Source: of your everyday .. everything .. everywhere you go life. He wants your life to be filled beyond your wildest imaginations with his Spirit … nourishing and working deeply in every corner .. every room .. and every ounce of energy in your life. The real life that God has for you is Christ in everything that touches your life. He knows what you want in life. He knows all the influences that have shaped: … your images of Jesus … your views on what makes a life full … and your measure of what makes life significant. Jesus wants your life to be whole and he knows that you will only be whole in His love working deeply and gently through your life. You’ve got places inside of you that are a mess. You’ve got places inside of you that no one has ever seen … maybe even your spouse. You’ve got places inside of you that you have blocked .. run from .. and managed everyday to keep from the healing touch of Jesus .. the Only Source. What does God want? He wants you telling others in love about the life that Jesus is living in you everyday. It only takes a moment … a life-changing moment … a life-exchanging moment … a life healthy in God moment …
“God can do anything, you know — far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.” Ephesians 3:20 The Message
