What holds you together day in and day out…?

It is a quiet truth:  God is faithful and dependable. He not only holds you together .. He does so using all the parts of your life. His way of doing things invites you to live wholeheartedly and full-time in Christ. It is a very visible truth:  God is making everything about your life whole and holy. No sin in your life .. past or present .. has equal standing in the resurrection life you have in Christ. It is a risen/returning truth: You can’t start over in yourself … in a new location .. or in a whole new look on the outside. It is not a narrow life .. restricting life .. controlling life. The WholeHearted One offers you a wholehearted and full-time life in himself. Too often .. we forget to remember that it is in Christ that our lives are made truly alive. Too often .. we forget and “give sin a vote” on the day’s or next moment’s direction. Too often .. we forget to simply place our trust in the One who is completely dependable.  It only takes a moment .. a raised from the dead moment .. a wholehearted moment .. a full-time moment…

 ”That means you must not give sin a vote in the way you conduct your lives. Don’t give it the time of day. Throw yourselves wholeheartedly and full-time — remember, you’ve been raised from the dead! — into God’s way of doing things.” Romans 6:12-13 The Message
