“Let the Word of Christ — the Message –have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives …” Colossians 3:16 The Message

Are you making room? … or … How much room are you giving God…?

Your life is held together by something so simply profound called: The Word. Jesus reminded the Heart-Deceiving Liar that … It takes more than bread to really live. He reminded the Heart-Breaking Liar that it takes: absolute single-heartedness to serve God. He reminded the Heart-Stealing Liar that you don’t: dare test the Lord your God. It is a spoken Word … A Real-Skin Word … and now wants to be a Run of the House Word. Maybe you’ve given him a closet  … shelf .. or even a corner and you expect the Lord to change your life and take care of the most important pieces of your life. Jesus is a Total Heart-Changer. Your heart is changed from being about you to being about Jesus … His life … His love … His leading. This is what gets the run of the house. He doesn’t just want a part of you …He wants to make a permanent residence … a living household of His Spirit in you … a Worry-Free home for his love and life to be made real in you and through you. You won’t know where He will want to begin .. You can only give him the keys today and breathe a holy relief that you no longer have to be in control or try to clean up the mess on the inside. Jesus will do that .. perfectly .. one room at a time. He won’t get tired or discouraged or give up and quit. He knows exactly what He can build inside or your life today … He just wants you to give him the keys. It only takes a moment …
