“It wasn’t so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live.” Ephesians 2:1 Thee Message

Whose life do you want to live today …?

You may think that you have to do your part before God will step in and rescue you today. You may even try to resign yourself to the false fact that your old life is just too hard to change. You may think your old life is not that bad: Sure … you’re not living an evil life … at least one you would like to admit. Sure … you’re at least starting the day with good intentions. Sure … you can look around and see lives much worse than yours. Outside of Christ … you are sin-dead … stagnating … and being lied to about living. This is exactly where God steps into your life. You’ve been made alive in Christ. Your everyday new life is one that shares company with Jesus all day. Shouldn’t that alone make a difference in a how you live? It should.  If you knew that everything you did today was in the living presence of Jesus … would that make a difference in how you loved … lived … and learned? It should because it is life-true. You were dead and now you have been made alive with Messiah. Sin-dead has been exchanged for Christ-made. And Jesus does know how to live a  life that is Fully-free … Father-focused … and First-loved. If you need to quit trying to live your new life with old rules … then quit … ask God for the guidance. He made you alive … He will lead you toward His family and His focus.  Alive in Christ .. Alive in Christ … this is your song … you thought … and your life-changing gift today. It only takes a moment …

“He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah.” Ephesians 2:5-6 The Message
