“Generous in love–God, give grace! Huge in mercy–wipe out my bad record.” Psalm 51:1 The Message

Is God big enough for  you??

Can He cover your sin…your secrets…your worries…your failures? Wipe out your bad record? He is a Generous in love-God. That’s who He is all the time … towards you. He is a Huge in mercy-God. He knows what you pursue in your heart .. what you secretly desire .. what you grip tightly. But … that’s who He is all the time … towards you. He is a Trash-salvaging God. He reconstructs wrecked lives and changes them into “rebel chasers” who can show others the way home. That’s who He is all the time … towards you.  What if he recounted every single one of your failures, sins and missteps?? Can God really cover all of that? Can God really wipe out your sin-stained life? Does He want to?  What does He see in you that would allow Him to consider such a thing??  It is the only way that God knows. He sees His very own creation that He longs to breathe holiness into. Yes, Underneath all of the “trash of your life”…He sees what could be…Through the “gray exile” that you find yourself in today, yesterday, tomorrow…He sees a sailing vessel that He longs to use to help others… fear-filled and sin-stained find their way back home…to Him! It only takes a moment to stop, turn and dive into the generous love and huge mercy that awaits all that He has for you today …

“Don’t throw me out with the trash, or fail to breathe holiness in me. Bring me back from gray exile, put a fresh wind in my sails! Give me a job teaching rebels your ways so the lost can find their way home.” Psalm 51:10-12 The Message

Grace-Gripped is sent through the ghost writing collaboration of two brothers Today: Bob Stec and a traveling Ken Chester and sent to Generously-loved and Formerly-exiled wanderers who now belong to Jesus and friends of Priority One (ken@priorityone.org)
