“Thank God, call out his Name! Tell the whole world who he is and what he’s done! Sing to him! Play songs for him! Broadcast all his wonders! Revel in his holy Name, God-seekers, be jubilant! Study God and his strength, seek his presence day and night … ” 1 Chronicles 16:8-11 The Message

What are you going to do today …?

Will you risk telling the world you live in who God is and what he’s done .. in your life .. in the world around you? You’ll need to be creatively real .. truthfully real .. and laugh-out-loud-at-yourself real in Christ. Because the world you live in doesn’t waste time thanking God .. calling out his Name .. and seeking his Presence day and night. Your life is Messiah-made and your true identity is anchored in this raised-from-the-dead fact. Your life in Christ is to be a daily broadcast of God’s wonders. You don’t have to try harder or pretend that it is real to convince anyone. God has called you to live .. just live the life you have in Jesus. There are days and moments when the best in you is simply trusting God in the face of unyielding worries .. unsettling fears .. and unnerving silence. Jesus knows what you are facing today where you work. Jesus knows what you are facing today in the closest relationships of your life. Jesus knows what you are facing today in yourself. Those are the very places where he is working His Wonders in you. He isn’t asking you to make promises. He’s offering you His presence .. His sacrificed presence .. His raised presence .. His day and night presence to guide you and strengthen you as you live for Him today. You can thank God .. You can call out His Unfailing Name .. and better yet .. you can listen and lean into the gift of Jesus calling out your name today. He never gets tired of you .. never!!! It only takes a moment …

“It’s because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God.” 1 Peter 1:21 The Message
