“Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.” Colossians 1:22 New Living Translation

What does God see when he looks at you …?

He sees You without one spot … one blemish .. or even one accusation that could stick to your whole life. Nothing. We were all born with spots–blemishes–and faults. He doesn’t see anything but the complete .. total .. once-and-for-all-finished  work of His Son in your life. There is nothing you can do. Every life-spot .. life-stain .. life-blemish that you see when you look in a mirror or have hidden in your heart or mind is gone. You don’t need to look at it or at them any longer. God doesn’t .. so why should you? But .. we often keep looking at what God has covered and forgotten. There are no accusations .. no finger-pointing-faults .. no indictments against any ChristFollower. You don’t need to live like a wandering exile or outsider any longer. God is building a home and your life in Christ is one of His most treasured addresses! But .. we often view ourselves as not quite good enough for God to live in yet … maybe one day .. but not now. There is nothing that can get between you and God’s love because of the way that Jesus .. has embraced you.! No spots .. No blemishes .. No faults. The life that Jesus has for you is free of those haunting relics. And this makes you a Gospel messenger in the world you live in. It only takes a moment …

“That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building.” Ephesians 2:19 The Message
