“May God himself, the whole God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together — spirit, soul, and body — and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it! 1Thessalonians 5:23-24 The Message

What does your life add up to in the Kingdom of God…?

Wholeness … Entire … Complete … Made holy (sanctified) … Kept blameless. And you are not talking about a general sense of life …But … God is making your whole life with all of the parts …. whole .. completely whole in Christ. You can try to hold on to the old stuff that really doesn’t work well and lacks endurance. God is completely dependable …. He will do what He says. And what about you today? What if today is God’s time to deal with YOU! There are no deals to be made. The One who is called is faithful. He cannot see with doubt … distrust … or dismay. He sees the aching heart … the lonely heart … the worn out heart. He sees your heart. And He wants to give you His complete peace … through and through your life and your family. But it starts with you … Jesus wants you … not just the new birth you … but You … struggles and all … loneliness … isolation … moral watch list … rules- seen and unseen …  and things that just send you a message that you are not measuring up….. LIES. Wholeness is the heaven packed… kingdom tempered … Father grown children of grace … that’s you … and it only takes a moment…..

“Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and my your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithfull.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NLT

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
