“In the same way that you gave me a mission in the world, I give them a mission in the world. I’m consecrating myself for their sakes .. So they’ll be truth-consecrated in their mission.” John 17:19 The Message

Who are you representing today…?

You were given a mission a long time ago … even before you were born. Your mission is to show the world you live in what the truth is about God … about Jesus … and what life in Christ is really looks like in all of your relationships. You could never do this on your own. The mission is too great and the need is neverending. So, Jesus gave His life for you to build your life … your day … so that your efforts would be truth-saturated  and truth-consecratted. You won’t live without struggles and sometimes unending battles in your heart … your mind … and spirit will conspire to make you feel alone and unsupplied for God’s mission. But that would not be true … You belong to Jesus … He gave his life for you to be truth-consecrated … soaked through and through with God’s truth in a half-truth, half-baked world. You are the message that life in Jesus can be radically different. It is a big mission with an even bigger life changing message … and You are His representative. It only takes a moment to receive your mission order for the day.

“God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them” 2 Corinthians 5:19 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
