” Jesus said, I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life.” John 14:6 The Message

Did Jesus really mean it …?

… That He was the Truth … about life … about purpose .. about direction … about everyday living … about marriage … about forgiveness … about hope … about sin … about love. He told a woman thrown at his feet that He didn’t condemn her for her destructive behavior. He told another woman about her 5 husbands and that the Father was  looking for men and women who were simply themselves before him in their worship. That is living truth … just being yourself … your true self … not the pained self … not the bitter self … not the unforgiving self … just the real God-breathed-restored-welcomed home-selves. That’s what Jesus really means for your life today. He is the Truth … the set-you-free-truth … the life-made-new-truth … the-totally-forgiving-truth … the-I’m-never-going-to-leave-you-truth. Truth isn’t grounded in a set of facts. It is found on the face of Jesus who knows everything about you and offers you the healing truth of grace .. overflowing .. unfading .. homecoming .. highway singing joy of belonging to the One who will never quit .. give up .. or run out on you. This is the Truth he wants you to live and sing into the world you live in today. But first: Jesus wants you to know in your heart … to seal in your mind … and taste in the depth of your life that He is the  Truth about your life .. past .. present .. and forever. It only takes a moment …

“There will be a highway called the Holy Road … They’ll sing as they make their way home to Zion, unfading halos of joy encircling their heads. Welcomed home with gifts of joy and gladness as all sorrows and sighs scurry into the night.” Isaiah 35:8, 10 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
