“God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that.” 1 Cor. 1:9 The Message

Why does your life matter today …?

… Because your Son-shared life is forever marked and filled with the never give up on you promise from God. God doesn’t want you to forget that .. but He knows you will from time to time. Your  life is a Messiah-made-fresh-start. It matters in the world you live in. Someone in your world will have their eyes opened by God’s Spirit and they will see the something “new” of your life. And maybe they will ask you why you have hope. And maybe Jesus will open your eyes to see God’s never give up work and love in someone close by today. Your life matters today precisely because Jesus .. Messiah .. The Hoped-For One … The Never-Give-Up-On-You One … The Fresh-Start One has made your life new and is making your life new at this moment. He is working in the deepest places of your life .. the unseen places .. the hidden places .. and even in the everyday visible places .. so that the world you live in will see a difference. Everyday struggles — Overwhelming circumstances — Paralyzing fears — Lingering doubts — Nagging lies — Sin-scarred insecurities … and on and on and on. Your life matters because this is the mission and adventure God has begun and will complete in your life. Jesus Christ is your new life … Your life matters today. It only takes a moment … to be renewed again .. freshly restarted .. knowing that God will never give up on you…

“Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons!” 2 Cor. 5:17 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
