“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-kind glory, like Father, like Son. Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.” John 1:14 The Message

What does God have for you …?

It began with flesh and blood and an address. The Son moved into the neighborhood .. your neighborhood .. your marriage .. your family. God in the flesh .. Unheard of .. Unexpected .. and Unconceivable. This Son “stepped” into your “out-of-step” life. The Only-Right Life entered you’re wrong-before-birth world the only way He could: inside out! What you long for within all you’re striving and self-determination is a true from start to finish life. You may not express it with those words but it is the incapable longing in your life. You could spend your entire life trying to undo all the wrongs created by your well-intentioned motives and plans. But God changed everything when He moved into the neighborhood. To some it is laughable and unbelievable. But for you .. it is the “generous inside out” life that Jesus has come to conceive in you and live through you. His grace opens the way .. His Spirit empowers your mind .. And His life has become the “new and true life” that you’ve waited for all your life. To some it begins early .. To others later .. but to all whom place their true birth in this Son .. it begins in a moment .. a Son-conceiving moment .. A Son-sustaining moment of grace filled moments. The Son is what God has for you .. Inside out .. True from start to finish .. It only takes a moment …

“I’ve been out of step with you for a long time, in the wrong since before I was born. What you’re after is truth from the inside out. Enter me, then; conceive a new, true life.” Psalm 51:5 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
