“Father, forgive them; they don’t know what they are doing” Luke 23:34 The Message

Becoming the Father’s manuscript …?

It all began with three words: “Father, forgive them”. Jesus says the last thing in the world you ever thought you would hear or see. He chose to infect us with grace. You can’t measure how deep .. wide .. and high is the love of Christ that takes away your sin and fills up your dry and thirsty life with His life. Grace … God’s free gift .. Free through His Son … Free for the taking .. and the asking. Your life is God’s manuscript. He’s telling His story through your life. You don’t walk away from God’s Son easily. “Father, forgive them” … You were forgiven. And now you are one of his messages .. A message of life out of the ruins .. restoration from brokenness and bruises .. and a fresh start when you thought you would never find one again. Jesus prayed that impossible prayer of forgiveness so you could be set free and made whole through His resurrection. God’s not finished with your story. And if you need Jesus’ help … It only takes a moment …

“You can see how it is written that the Messiah suffers, rises from the dead on the third day, and then a total life-change through the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed in his name to all nations. … You’re the first to hear and see it. You’re the witnesses ” Luke 24:45-53 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
