Grace: It’s a Life-Changer

May 20, 2011

“Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish!” Ephesians 2:7-8 The Message

How do you describe GRACE?

It’s your story. The one you are to be sharing everyday. It’s not something colorless or boringly repetitious. It is unfolding in your life everyday as you follow Jesus. How do you describe the life-changing .. life-saving.. life-filling Grace of God.? It is really life-changing. Everything you do is different because of God’s grace. And it is God’s story unfolding in  your life: His redeeming .. reclaiming .. restoring love going room by room .. year by year through your life making you whole through the love of Jesus. It’s comparable. It’s irresistible …(yes, it really is)! It’s indescribably real because of what God’s grace does inside of you. And while you may “feel” separated from God at times … Nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. It’s your story and it’s God’s story and it affects everyone and everything connected to your life. And Jesus never tires of giving you more and more grace everyday. Grace: God’s never letting go of your life .. and He’s loving you with something so powerful that your life will change. It only takes a moment ..

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ jesus.” Romans 8:38-39 New American Standard

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
