He never lets go …

July 27, 2011

I’ve tried everything and nothing helps. I’m at the end of my rope. Is there no one who can do anything for me? Isn’t that the real question?

You’re not alone when it comes to facing and dealing with your personal struggles and personal battles with sin. Jesus knows what you .. you personally .. are facing today. He knows acutely what the power of sin does and how much it can grip you and leave you paralyzed in secret prisons of shame and rejection. His solution is one hundred percent accurate. There isn’t one hidden sin left in your life that Jesus hasn’t completely dealt with on your behalf. It is amazing how many men and women carry around a residue of past sins or struggles that they think “they” have to deal with in their own strength before Jesus will help them. It will wear you out to deal with your own issues. The truth is: Everyone has “shoes” that they struggle with .. Some more than others. But Jesus never let’s go of you. When you gave Him your life .. When you trusted what His life had done for you .. When you accepted His sin-conquering gift you became part of His Never-Lets-Go Fellowship. Everywhere you go He goes. It’s not just you meeting other people, but it’s Christ in you meeting others as well. He’s not going to let go of you today if you mess up or fail in some way. Likewise, He’s not going to love you more because you do everything right. There’s no contradiction in Jesus when it comes to your life. He’s promised to set things right in you .. every detail. And your part today?: To follow Him .. Love Him .. and serve Him with All your heart .. mind .. and strength. What does you day hold? What are you going to hold onto? It only takes a moment …

“The answer thank God, is that Jesus Christ can and does. He acted to set things right in this life of contradictions where I want to serve God with all my heart and mind, but am pulled by the influence of sin to do something totally different.” Romans 7:25 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
