Whole and lasting …

May 4, 2012

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.” John 3:16 The Message

God loved you so much that he gave his one and only Son to give you a whole and lasting life. Your part is believing in such a love and letting this Son change your life from the inside out. You’re not only saved by God’s power but you’re filled with this same gospel power to proclaim this extraordinary Message. Wherever the Lord places you: in very visible places or in seldom seen places you are there to proclaim His life. He’s not keeping score. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is life-changing .. life-altering .. and life-ordering. Christ isn’t supposed to be just a priority but the abiding foundation of your life. The Gospel is the only Message in the world that meets every man or woman in whatever condition with the same message: God loves you so much that He gave his one and only Son. It doesn’t matter what condition you are in or how far you have drifted and wandered. Jesus will meet you with an unconditional love so powerful that melts away all of your defenses and reveals how powerless you really are in this world without Him. Yes … He has come to rescue .. to restore .. and to renew your life. He’s come to exchange your tired-of-being-alone life with His indwelling-forever life. He loves you that much. In fact .. there isn’t anything God loves more than to see you loving Him .. for loving you. And you do this when you become a proclaimer of so great a Message! It only takes a moment …

“It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! Romans 1:16 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
