“Let every detail in your lives — words, actions, whatever — be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.” Colossians 3:17 The Message

In Christ, everything about your life is changed. You may not feel it and you may even wonder if anything has changed. Everything has changed at the center of your life. Your citizenship has been transferred from dust and gravity to Heaven. Instead of waiting for the end, your heart and spirit now wait for the beginning of His arrival. The same power that redeemed your life .. redeemed creation .. and walked out of a grave is now working in you .. putting things right .. cleaning out locked closets .. opening new rooms where He dwells .. and filling you with a new language of thanksgiving. Jesus is doing all of that and more in you. He began that work in you long before you even recognized His transforming grace. In Christ, everything is changed. Relationships .. work .. how you live .. where you direct your energy .. and even how you view the world you live in. The Gospel becomes the richness of your life. In Christ .. the gospel comes alive in your life. You were once dead .. now you are alive. You once had to keep everything together .. now you are being put together for God’s purpose in Christ. Is there any room inside your heart you need to open to His grace and Spirit? Is there anything you’re holding on too tightly? Is there any place where you need His healing .. helping .. delivering grace? It only takes a moment …

But there’s far more to life for us. We’re citizens of high heaven! We’re waiting the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ, who will transform our earthly bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He’ll make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he is putting everything as it should be, under and around him.” Philippians 3:20-21 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
