If … .

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 Holman Christian Standard

God can’t stop himself when it comes to you. When you pour your heart out, He pours His life into you. “If” is a life-changing word in Heaven. It opens the door of your life for God to forgive and cleanse. If you don’t, He can’t. If you do, He is faithful … He will totally forgive you through and through. There isn’t one half-forgiven sin left lingering in you. He’s forgiven you completely through Jesus. And Jesus does something incredible: He moves into your life .. His Spirit alive in you .. Making you truly alive for all that God desires for you. The Holy Spirit is continually reminding you that you are forgiven. He is the One who is cleansing you inside and out because you are prone to forgetting and falling back into the trap of trying to fight sin in your own strength. When you “confessed” you let go of your ability to fight the things that entrapped you and opened the door for Jesus to rescue you and ransom your life from sin. You are not alone anymore. If you are holding on to anything … He is faithful and righteous for your life. It only takes a moment …

“When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s!” Romans 8:11 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
