All for all …

“You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus Christ was. Though he was very rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.” 2 Cor. 8:9 New Living Translation

You have the rest of your life to grasp or be gripped by this image: Jesus spent everything He was .. He had .. and He is so that you would know how much you are worth to God. And that changes everything about how you live your life. In the very least, your life is a living message of God’s indefatigable generosity. Everyday .. today even .. you can share freely and extravagantly the love of God in Christ. The world you live in will try every form of subterfuge to diminish or dilute the message of Christ’s life. The world will try to suggest that everyone is made rich by God’s love … without Christ. God’s generosity is on full display in Jesus. Learning to love the life that Christ is living-in-me contains this exchange: Christ’s riches for your poverty. He became the “poor” of your life so that you could become the riches of His life. Whatever you will be doing today … Wherever you are going … are moments where God’s grace is on full display. It is very easy to be worn down by this world’s tactics and forget the true riches that your life has become in Christ. You already know someone that desperately needs this message of grace and truth in their lives. How would God use you today to share this extravagant wealth of Jesus Christ? Sometimes it just begins by taking a moment and asking Jesus to lead your way today. You can trust Him … his grace is life-changing. It only takes a moment …

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
