All things ….

“and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.” Colossians 1:20 New American

Christ has reconciled all things about your life. There isn’t one thing left for you to do but receive what He offers you. He offers you a completely reconciled life .. a put together life .. and a blameless life. And He’ll even put your life together so that you can exclusively trust Him for everything and everyone connected to your life. As one resurrection-practitioner wrote: “Nothing is added because nothing is lacking” when Christ made peace on the cross. Problems and fractures occur whenever you try to add or subtract from Christ’s sacrificial gift on your behalf. His life is to be the source for everything you do today. His life makes your life whole and holy. His life is the very real and very lasting peace in all relationships. It’s His life that holds you together today. It’s in Christ that you find your real freedom today. He gave himself completely .. nothing held back .. to give you a life that you could never find on your own. It’s that Life that Christ wants to live in you today: Reconciled .. Filled with peace .. Whole and holy in His presence. What will hold your life together today? It only takes a moment …

“But now, by giving himself completely at the Cross, actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God’s side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence.” Colossians 1:22 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
