“Your word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 New American Standard
Can God be trusted with your life today? If so, then you can trust what He says. Most people may profess a form of faith in a “god”. But, they stop short of trusting in his life-shaping words. They want help with problems. They want promises that life will work out in their favor. In short, they want life on their terms with God as a help when needed. But GOD .. the One who is Lord over your life and all life is completely trustworthy in everything He says. He will guide you’re feet. That means He knows what your day holds. He knows all about you and everything that goes into making up your life. that’s why the LIFE He offers you is so complete. Jesus said He was the light of the world and anyone who follows him would not walk in darkness but have the “Light” of life. What an offer and promise Jesus offers you today. Will you trust in His words for you? will you let Him lead your life? What trips us up day in and day out is neglecting the gift of God’s Word. The world you live in is always offering you a way to live that doesn’t involve following Jesus .. trusting His words .. and listening to God’s Word. Will you trust God’s Word for your life today? If so, then you’ll quickly realize that you have to make room or the margins of your life will erode until you have no room to listen and no space remaining to trust in the One who wants to unite your heart and mind in His truth. It only takes a moment …
“Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and will glorify Your name forever.” Psalm 86:11-12 New American Standard
