More than enough …

“Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people –free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! Ephesians 1:7 The Message

How much does God want you? Enough for a sacrifice .. Enough to free you from all those chalked up layers of sin and punishing struggles .. Enough to make you abundantly free. Your day will begin with nothing left of your sins. Yes .. there are consequences that can hang around and the course of your life may take God-timed shifts. But that is not God’s punishment or penalty. Jesus dealt with all of your misdeeds and worse on the Cross. Can you actually believe it …? Your slate is wiped clean. The old stuff is gone. You can try to resurrect your past … rewrite it … regret it … but … Jesus has paid for all of your wrongdoings. All the freedom in this world cannot “free” you enough. Only the Abundant One can wipe your slate clean. His abundance comes saturated with incomparable love, unconditional love, and indefatigable love. In the deepest corners of your heart and mind are the words: “I’ve redeemed you.” They are words for your life today. Jesus has redeemed your life… He has paid for it, purchased it, ransomed it, and released it. It only takes a moment to “come back” to the One who said:”I’ve redeemed you … go and live free.”

“I’ve wiped the slate of all your wrongdoings. There’s nothing left of your sins. Come back to me, come back. I’ve redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
