NOTHING ….

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39 New King James

What great promise starts your day and renews you throughout. Jut think .. There is NOTHING that can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. There is NOTHING in and around your life today that can block .. deflect .. or defeat God’s love for you. In your own heart you may imagine or feel circumstances that you think keeps God from loving you. But god’s love for you is centered upon His Son’s life. His Cross defeated everything connected to your life that would prevent God from loving you. You may stumble .. fail .. or drift away, but God isn’t like you. Jesus has removed all condemnation that would suffocate you. His Spirit is transforming in you everything that Jesus has become Lord over and in your life. EVERYTHING. So when a former Christian-chasing prosecutor is changed into a Grace-dispensing servant of the inexhaustible riches of Christ, he staking all of his life upon the absolute truth of God’s promise: NOTHING past, present, or future in your life can separate you from the love of Christ. The Lord’s love rests upon you today … for everything in your life and for anything you will face today. It only takes a moment …

“Who has scooped up the ocean in his two hands, or measured the sky between his thumb and little finger, Who has put all the earth’s dirt in one of his baskets, weighed each mountain and hill? Who could ever have told God what to do or taught him his business? What expert would he have gone to for advice, what school would he attend to learn justice? What god do you suppose might have taugmht him what he knows, showed him how things work?” Isaiah 40:12-14 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
