“How many loaves of bread do you have?” Mark 6:38 The Message

In a race-divided nation a God-appointed preacher said: “The secret of the Christian life is simply the presence of Jesus Christ.” This nail-scarred .. grave-risen man still offers His Life to anyone looking .. longing .. seeking .. running .. hoping .. surrendering .. trusting .. collapsing .. and resting in His crucified promise and resurrection power to change their lives from the inside out. He will be your Life. True freedom is found in Him. True identity is formed through Him. True purpose is created by Him. No other person has ever offered and fulfilled such an offer in all of humanity: Freedom found .. Identity born .. Purpose empowered. No other person who has ever lived has ever offered such a truth-saturated life. “What do you have “? .. is the question that catches you off guard. Jesus isn’t hiding an agenda. He’s not trying to trap you. He’s asking you “THAT” question that is uniquely tied to your life. Your answer or response isn’t going to catch him off guard or surprise Him. What is unsettling is that his question may bring up the most unlikeliest image or something easily dismissed as having no value or worth. But will you give it to Jesus? Because He will do the unthinkable: he’ll give thanks to the Father for what you give Him, break it in grace, and multiply it to be given away to others. He’s offering you his life for the overlooked .. overloaded .. and sometimes overused portions of your life. Whatever you are holding onto for today … will you give it to Jesus? It only takes a moment …

“He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Matt. 14:18 New King James

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
