Is their room for daily .. your life?

January 21, 2014

“They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew. As a God added those who were saved.” Acts 2:46-47 The Message

What would make a group of men and women just like you turn their lives upside down and inside out? They had seen diseases cured .. eyesight restored .. food provided to thousands .. unapproachable man and women welcomed .. untouchable men and women made restored .. and heard that God was on their side of life. They heard through an itinerant rabbi who stepped into people’s worlds right where they lived .. in every condition. They saw and heard he had been crucified and now was resurrected. He promised eternal life …something they thought was out of their reach .. beyond their hope. They had become His reach. They had become His hope. Everything about their lives changed. Worship became the rule of their heart .. not the law of demand. Meals were more than necessity .. they became a celebration of new life in Christ. God added because there is always room where His life is celebrated and their lives became infectious joy. This is the LIFE that Christ will pour into your life and pour through your life. This is the LIFE that Christ wants to live in you today. It only takes a moment …

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
