The one name that matters …

February 5, 2014

“Salvation comes no other way, no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved, only this one.” Acts 4:12 The Message

The Name that defines your life is everything. He is the source of everything you do. He is the source of everything you are. He is the source of everything you will become. The Name of Jesus is the only name that will sustain your life through anything .. anywhere .. and anytime. His name is the only name you want and can rely upon in a crisis. His name is the only name that will give you the strength to face today and tomorrow. His name is the only name that can redeem your past and change your life. No other name can change your life like Jesus. Your true self .. the real you .. is found in Christ. You’ll find any number of offers to define you in the world you live in. But only One Name offers you nail scarred hands that remind you how much your life is really worth. You can’t find it on your own. You can’t work hard enough to find yourself. You can’t accumulate enough to make your life into what Jesus does in one moment … and continues even now. He will truly be the source of everything you need .. anytime .. anywhere .. for anything. The Name of Jesus and your life … only take a moment …

“It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. … We take our lead from Christ, he is the source of everything do.” Ephesians 1:11, 4:15 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
