Believing into this day …

“Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5 New American Standard

How are you going to believe today as you step into this world? Will Jesus be the Son of God who is your life and is connected with everything you do? Will you live like you believe he is the Son of God? If He is .. then your life is to be God’s message about eternity. How you live .. love .. work .. and play are moments of revealing what you believe .. and how you believe it. Is the Son of God you believe in able to carry the pressures .. struggles .. and worries of your life? Is there room in your life for this Son to live his life through you? What you believe about Jesus will affect every area of your life. The world will try to minimize or even dismiss the reality of the cross. In Christ you have life .. eternal life .. a life filled with hope .. promise .. forgiveness .. joy .. love .. and grace-filled truth. It’s only found in Christ. You may face a moment or two where what you believe and how you are believing seem miles apart. The great gift of faith and believing is that at any moment you can pause and fix your eyes on Christ .. and let Christ and his Spirit lead you through any circumstance or situation where all you have is believing. The Lord is always faithful. It only takes a moment ..

“And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” 1 John 5:11-12 New American Standard

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
