“Since, then, we do not have the excuse of ignorance, everything—and I do mean everything—connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it!” Ephesians 4:22 The Message

The freedom God has given you through Christ calls you to share .. participate .. and live in a God-fashioned life. You’re not called to disengage your mind or emotions. You’re not called to live an external set of rules. You’re to called to behave. You’re called into an “inside-out” life where Christ’s character .. His righteousness .. holiness .. and truth are ‘reproduced’ in you through faith. You have a true freedom found in Christ. It is freedom that everyone wants but many retreat when thy realize that God’s freedom is only found in Christ. Freedom is an “entirely” new way of life. It’s not your old life with a clean slate. It’s a brand-new life .. cross-carved .. grave-cleared .. and grace-shaped. If you’ve ever longed to let go of rotten .. then Christ is the One who longs to give you new. It only takes a moment …

” And then take on an entirely new way of life—a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you.” Ephesians 4:23-24 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
