Finding room for what really matters….

“I have stored your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11 English

You were born with a storage problem. All the words that God wanted to store in you got pushed to side .. packed away .. rearranged and refused. They’re good words too! Life-giving words .. Words full of love .. Words that hold you together .. Words that remind you Who put you back together again .. when your words ran dry. A rock-throwing cave-dwelling shepherd-King learned the true value of God’s Life-words. He discovered that these words will hold you together .. guide you .. lead you .. redeem you .. restore you .. remind you .. pour light into all the dark places .. water the barren places .. and claim you out of bankruptcy .. at full price! What causes the storage problem? Most of it occurs from misuse and neglect. Some of it is willful. Mainly, you just get used to trying to substitute half-words for real-words. Jesus even prayed that you would be made whole inside and out through these truth-words. So he solved the storage problem. He cleared the way for you to store His life-words so you could live .. really live .. and experience life as only God can design. He’s given you a new heart … with all the capacity you’ll ever need. Start fillin’ … it only takes a moment ..

“I’ve banked your promises in my heart so I won’t sin myself bankrupt.” Psalm 119:11 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
