“My little children, I am writing these things to you that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate (one called alongside) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1John 2:1 New American Standard.

Jesus entered into every detail of your life. Everything that you face day to day .. pressures .. struggles .. and helplessness. Sin always leads down a path of helplessness. It doesn’t start out that way. But you’re not alone. Jesus stands in for your life. He’s not just pleading your case or claiming your innocence. His life is on full display for your behalf. He’s experienced all the pain and suffering of living in a broken world .. but never chose for himself first. He chose for your life. He is your help today. There isn’t one area of your life where you need help that Christ doesn’t have all the help you need. You don’t have to fight all your battles alone. Jesus Christ .. your Advocate .. your righteousness .. and your help .. stands ready for your life. He won’t let go…

“That’s why he had to enter into every detail of human life. Then, when he came before God as high priest to get rid of the people’s sins, he would have already experienced it all himself – all the pain, all the testing – and would be able to help where help was needed.” Hebrews 2:17-18 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
