His love never quits …

“For God so loved the world…” John 3:16 New American Standard

He loved what he created. Everything about everything that he spoke into existence was spoken and formed out of love. There were no regrets .. nothing to reconsider .. and nothing made from partial love. But then, God made you. First, he made someone like you .. perfectly in love. By the time he made you, his love had been tried and tested. And yet God made you out of perfect love. He couldn’t do any less .. because He isn’t any less. He doesn’t quit or give up. He’s not going to walk away. His love “lasts”. The world you live in everyday is broken and flawed. But with God .. he still loves it perfectly. He sees all the broken pieces .. broken promises .. and broken people .. and still he loves perfectly. There was no way to predict or prepare for what was coming next. God sent imperfect people into the world with a perfect message about love. Not many believed or lived like it was true. And still God loved this “world” that he created. Despite all the resistance of everything created, God loves this world. And he loves you…!!! And to make that point irresistible, he chose to love you through Jesus. His love will out last you .. out give you .. and wait outside of you until you open your heart to the life changing power of his indwelling love. There will be scars along the way .. but none of them will match the ones on his hands and feet. Those were formed from the perfect love God has for you. It only takes a moment .. and He won’t let go ..

“Thank God because he’s good, because his love never quits.” Psalm 118:1 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
