Son Designs …

December 16, 2014

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son ..” John 3:16 The Message

How much is your “how much” worth? God loves you. You were worth his Son. Sometimes that may seem like a distant fact, when in reality it is what holds you together today! Sometimes it can feel like a detached truth, you believe, but real life is about taking control .. figuring out problems .. and trying to secure a future. The truth about today is that your real life is found in this Son. The real you is Son-designed and Son-purposed. When you set your heart on this Son, you begin to realize over time just how much God loves you because of Jesus. He steps into all the clutter in your life and fills up the vacant spaces. He’s restoring the original design .. “room by room” .. layer upon layer .. creating something that only a Father-Son-and-Holy Spirit could claim as their own. You are loved that much! God’s one and Only wants you to know and trust His purpose in your life. God loves you. His Son is the “how much” of your life .. and how much more life you will live through Christ. Whose design would you rather place your trust in today? The Son’s .. or yours. It only takes a moment .. and He won’t let go ..

“It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.” Ephesians 1:11-12 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
