Who ever thought that God had a secret? He knew the exact time to make it known. Until then, men and women walked by faith in God’s redeeming promise and faithfulness. After all, “the most foolish thought, the most insane idea is that God does not keep His word.” And keep it He did. If God could be pushed to the limit .. we did. If God could be blamed for bad things .. we did. If God could be ignored and rejected .. we did that too. So, God does the most impossible .. unthinkable .. and unbelievable act of love: He cleared away everything in your life by exchanging it with His Son. “A clean slate and a fresh start”: that’s your life. Do you act like it? Do you believe it? Is the difference of this day before you Jesus Christ or yourself? If it is Christ, then He has this day already designed in your life. He knows your plans and He knows His. He may work through your plans but the best gift He can give you is to relieve you of having to carry the load for this day. He has the gift of assurance for your life. It is the kind of assurance that is completely perfect for what faces you today. Jesus has taken every nuance .. every nuisance .. and every piece of news about your life into account. Some burdens will be lifted .. some left in place .. and some will not touch you today. Why … because Christ lives in you. That is the greatest message of your life as you start this day .. pause during the day .. and end the day. It’s not about you being on your own. It about Jesus Christ being the center of all you own .. all you do .. and His abiding life in the center of your life. It’s basic .. it’s simple .. and the only thing perfect about your life. Will you let Jesus be the difference about your life today? It only takes a moment …
