Love without exception…

March 4, 2016

“They called him every name in the book and he said nothing back. He suffered in silence, content to let God set things right. He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way.” 1Peter 2:24-25 MSG

Jesus gave up his life .. willingly .. so you could be free to “live the right way.” You could do some right things but you couldn’t “live the right way” without Christ’s cross. And for doing what he did .. becoming what others said he was before God .. and  doing all those things without complaining .. Jesus has freed your life from sin. That means you can learn to love as if your life depended on it. And when you love like Jesus you experience freedom .. cross-secured .. carried alone by Him .. on your behalf. It only takes a moment…

“Everythng in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it.” 1Peter 3:24-25

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
