“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.” Joshua 1:8 NASB

When it comes to your life .. God doesn’t mince words. He is serious about wanting you to live a life that is full .. that is faithful .. and that is built on the foundation of His Word. The Lord knows that there are numerous voices seeking to lead you away from His voice. He knows about the pressure you face to trust in Him for today .. for your circumstances .. for what you are presently facing. It hasn’t changed since He instructed Joshua to fix his mind on God words and not turn to another source. It doesn’t matter to God if it is millions of lives or if it is your life. His presence and power extend to any man or woman who trusts Him to keep His Word. He doesn’t force or demand. He promises you everything at the beginning before you’ve taken the first step of trust. And just to make sure, the Lord whispers into your heart: “I will be with you wherever you go”. How does His promise line up with your day .. your marriage .. your situation? Jesus ties the freedom of your life to loving Him and keeping His words. That’s where real freedom is found and enjoyed. What will fill your thoughts today? Will it be God Words? Will you trust Him for what lies ahead? It only takes a moment …

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NASB

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
