Everything’s FREE

July 4, 2016

“Hey there! All who are thirsty, come to the water! Are you penniless? Come anyway — buy and eat! Come, buy your drinks, buy wine and milk. Buy without money — everything’s free!” Isaiah 55:1-2 Message

The battle is real. It is a battle of sufficiency .. having enough .. making sure you don’t run out. You don’t have enough to finish the journey. Your supplies will run out. Your strength will fail. Your self-sufficiency is not enough. But God comes that moment and you hear Him say: “Everything’s free”! The gospel of freedom washes over every area of your life. Jesus has become the currency of your life. He’s paid for everything connected to your life. He’s invited you to pay with money you do not have for a debt you do not owe. The wicked are invited .. the evil as well .. and anyone else you think doesn’t deserve such an offer. The only ones free are those who’ve have accepted His offer .. turned back to the Lord .. let go of their way of life .. and taken hold of the banquet of mercy and forgiveness. Jesus made this possible .. you’re invited to come … and it only takes a moment …

“Seek God while he’s there to be found, pray to him while he’s close at hand. Let the wicked abandon their way of life and the evil their way of thinking. Let them come back to God, who is merciful, come back to our God, who is lavish with forgiveness.” Isaiah 55:6-7 Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
