What is God doing with you…?

July 31, 2017

“And my life is on display in them. For I’m no longer going to be visible in the world; They’ll continue in the world .. While I return to you. Holy Father, guard them as they pursue  this life .. That you conferred as a gift through me…” John 17:10-11 The Message

Your life is on display for Christ. The world around you gets to see what the Son of God looks like living in your life. He’s guarding you as you live your life. He’s on the “job .. speaking up for your life” today. The enemy of your faith will try every tactic to make you feel alone .. dismissed .. and unimportant in the Father’s agenda. It’s a lie. Jesus prayed for you a long time ago. Yes … you were a mess at one time … maybe still are in some areas. He prayed that your life would experience Father-Son oneness. There isn’t a more intimate prayer that Jesus could have prayed for you. He wants you to have the same life He shared with His Father. That’s the kind of love you’ve longed for all of your life. He has never stopped praying for you. He’s not going to stop what He began.  He hasn’t wasted one day of your life. He hasn’t forgotten you for one moment. He hasn’t overlooked one hurt .. one failure .. one regret .. one wound .. one longing. He is working in the deep places of your life .. your heart .. your mind. That’s why he’s never stopped praying for you. That’s why he is guarding you at this moment. That’s why it is a gift. You’re a grace-filled display of what Jesus can do in any life.  It only takes a moment.

“But Jesus’ priesthood is permanent. He’s there from now to eternity to save everyone who comes to God through him, always on the job to speak up for them.” Hebrews 7:24-25 The Message

About Ken Chester

I love seeing Christ become alive and real in someone's life. It is amazing what happens when Jesus moves in and starts to renovate a life. When I'm not riding my road bike, I am usually walking our corgi named Trinity (she came that way) and corgi-lab named Lowrider. Carolyn and I are transforming our backyard. And a book is on the way. ...Stay tuned ... Ken
